Got this to light up my sons basketball hoop out on the street, and its awesome! Super bright, like daylight out there at night, so they can shoot hoops even after the sun goes down. The motion sensor works great toolights up as soon as someone walks near. Love that its solar-powered, so no need to mess with wires or batteries. Easy to set up, and the remote is a nice touch. Definitely recommend if you need something bright and reliable for outdoor spaces!

I purchased this to light up my backyard . With 6500K lumen this light delivers bright, white illumination that is perfect for the area I wanted to cover effectively. Being solar-powered, it eliminated the need for wiring and reduces electricity costs. It charges efficiently during the day and provides reliable lighting from dusk to dawn. The construction feels sturdy. The light comes with all necessary mounting hardware, making it easy to set up without professional help.

I'm saving money with this solar lamp; I replaced my two halogens 100 watts with this solar lamp which the light is brighter and more beautiful. The lamp itself is very well made; conveniently, the solar panel is on top of the led lights, so there is no wiring at all. The arm that holds the led panel is not that heavy and so easy to install; also, the option to mount it on a tube. I'm really happy with this lamp and happily recommend it.

This is a BRIGHT light. It lights up my parents entire back yard. This feels like a high quality light. Sturdy. The light can be dimmed or brightened. It came with a handy remote. I did go to the hardware store to get some bolts and washers for proper mounting. Very easy to install. This will be great for letting the dog out at night. The remote works from a pretty far distance. I am very impressed with this! And no power needed. I highly, highly recommend this light.

I bought this solar light for the front of our house and Im so happy with that because unlike the previous lights, this one actually stays overnight until the morning it covers bigger area. The lights is brighter and the installation is super easy. Its got all the pieces you need and lots of installation brackets. Definitely worth it for the money.

The packaging is what gives away the quality of the product. Safe, well padded and secure for potentially rough shipping conditions. Components wise, these lights have a whopping 144 ultra bright LED beads and last way longer than regular onesup to 55,000 hours on a single charge! Plus, they're powered by a solid 3.2V/60,000mAh battery, so you get up to 15 hours of light without fuss, though I imagine that it will be much less in the cold winter days. They've got these high-quality mono-crystalline silicon solar panels that charge in just 6-8 hours of sunlight. And the best part? You won't have to worry about electricity bills since they're totally solar-powered. Set them up on a wall or pole, and they'll light up a decent area. They automatically switch on at dusk and save energy by turning off during the day. You can even adjust the brightness to your liking, with a dial and remote, full blast to a dim glowand they've got a remote control that works up to 26 feet away for easy setup, though your experience may vary depending on any obstructions you may have. They're built tough too, with an aluminum alloy body and an IP67 rating, so they're ready to take on rain, snow, and heat. Perfect for all sorts of outdoor spaces like streets, parks, and garages. Oh, and they come with a 3-year warranty and a friendly 120-day money back guarantee. Just a heads up, the remote control that comes with it is in black or white colors randomly, but that's not a big deal. Overall, an above average choice for outdoor lighting that's kind to your wallet and the environment.
This review is for the Gefolly SL-11000W Solar Street Lights Outdoor, 680000LM Commercial Parking Lot Light Dusk to Dawn IP67 Waterproof 6500K Solar Security Flood Lights Solar Lamp for Yard, Road, Basketball Courts (SL-11000W)Gefolly SL-11000W Solar Street Lights Outdoor, 680000LM Commercial Parking Lot Light Dusk to Dawn IP67 Waterproof 6500K Solar Security Flood Lights Solar Lamp for Yard, Road, Basketball Courts (SL-11000W).

The Gefolly solar street lamp is very powerful and lasts a long time. I have used this light for some time now, and it works perfectly. There is a remote control that comes with the light, allowing you to operate the light on a timer or always on.The sun charges the battery during the day, and once the darkness comes, the light can automatically light up at dusk, or it can be set to a motion-activated mode where it gets really bright when a human is detected. This is a very advanced product that works well.

Solar street lights are usually designed for easy installation, with mounting brackets that allow for secure placement on poles or walls.
This level of brightness is sufficient for illuminating wide areas and ensuring good visibility at night. ????????Value for money ??

It did exactly what it said it would do and covered the whole court and the kids love it. Great product with great price.

This solar powered light is very nice. It is extremely bright, and its metal construction and IP67 waterproof rating means it should hold up well in harsher weather conditions. The large solar panel, with adjustable direction, effectively charges the light, which has a long battery life, even on cloudy days. Installation is also pretty easy thanks to the included mounting hardware. Unfortunately, the light is very expensive compared to others, and the remote control feels flimsy and can be finicky. Also, the instruction manual isn't very good, and the performance will likely be worse during winter due to shorter daylight hours and potential snow coverage on the panel. Still overall it's a very nice light and I'm glad to have it.

The Gefolly SL-10000W Solar Street Light is an impressive solution for reliable and cost-effective outdoor lighting. Its entirely solar-powered, meaning no electricity costs, and it's eco-friendly. With its 140 ultra-bright LED lamp beads and a high-capacity 50,000mAh battery, this light provides strong, clear 6500K brightness. Even in rainy or cloudy weather, it stays illuminated, lasting up to 30 hours on a full charge. I appreciate how it turns on automatically at dusk and charges throughout the day, so there's zero hassle.
Installation is easy with the included wall and pole mount accessories, and with a recommended height of 16-20 feet, it covers a massive area of up to 3,800 square feet. The two lighting modes and adjustable brightness levels (100%, 80%, 50%, 20%) allow you to set the light exactly how you need it. The remote control is a fantastic addition, especially for adjusting settings from up to 26 feet away.
This light is truly built to withstand the elements. The aluminum alloy construction and IP67 waterproof rating mean it can handle thunderstorms, snow, and high temperatures without any issues. Its been perfect for lighting our driveway and garden, and its equally suitable for larger spaces like barns, basketball courts, or streets.
Finally, the 3-year warranty and 120-day money-back guarantee provide great peace of mind. If you're looking for a durable, high-performing, and cost-effective outdoor light, the Gefolly SL-10000W is an excellent choice.

The Gefolly SL-11000W Solar Street Light is a powerful and reliable option for outdoor illumination. With an impressive 800,000 lumens, it provides exceptionally bright light, ideal for large areas like parking lots, roads, or basketball courts. The 6500K color temperature delivers crisp, daylight-like brightness, enhancing visibility and security.

Geofolly C SL-11000W Street Light Commercial Parking Lot Light Dusk to Dawn IP67 Waterproof 6500K Solar Security Flood Lights Solar Lamp for Yard, Road, Basketball Courts
? Solid all Metal Housing
? Very Bright C See test results below
You could easily read a book under this light at night.
? Large Solar Panels C for quick charging (can even charge on overcast days)
? 60 Amp Hour Battery
? 4 LED Charge indicator C can see state of charge and blink when actively charging
? Solar Panel is separate from light - can easily be rotated for best sunshine
? Includes Remote
? Can be set to turn off automatically after 3, 5 or 8 hours
? No motion sensor option C I guess since these lights are designed with a parking lot in mind a motion sensor option wasnt a high priority. In other uses a motion sensor could greatly extend the runtimes.
? Need to be standing right underneath light for remote to work C this is a real pain a decent range would be a nice upgrade
? Both the Solar panel and the light are mounted at a fixed angle. The panel can easily be rotated to point south (or whichever direction you get the best sunlight) but the alignment from vertical cannot be adjusted. This is a big oversight it wouldnt be that hard to add an adjustable bracket between the fitting where the solar panel attaches to the mount and the panel itself.
? The angle of the Solar Panel is not optimized for Calgary. It is set at about 15 from horizontal.
Varies slightly depending on which compass direction the panel is rotated to as the pole that it mounts on is welded somewhat askew (not quite straight vertical)
Thats almost perpendicular to where it should be during the winter solstice when the sun only climbs 10 above the horizon.
? The outdoor temperatures in the Calgary area are occasionally less than the lower limit of the recommended operating temperature range. +140 F to C 22 F (+60C to -30C)
? Some of the welds on the support structure were not the smoothest. Quite a few blobs in spots.
I think that there is probably enough penetration to support the weight even if they do not look that nice.
? The post that the solar panel attaches is not quite vertical C about 5 degrees off.
Maybe not that big of deal functionally but indicative of shoddy workmanship.
Impressions:
I really like these lights. They are very solidly built and the supports are quite sturdy.
They are quite bright. You could easily read a book at 10 feet below either of these.
Having said that, I do not believe the output numbers that they claim.
The biggest drawback is the lack of adjustment for the angle of the solar panel. The angle as supplied is not at all optimal for the latitude that Calgary is located at. This could be an easy fix, just add an adjustable hinged bracket between the solar panel and the current mounting assembly.
Doing a quick internet search I found these numbers for optimum solar panel angles for the Calgary Area. 51.05 Latitude
Fixed Tilt 47.5 - set it once and leave it
2 Season Tilt 26.5 summer 63.9 winter
4 Season Tilt 22.7 summer 69.4 winter 47.7 spring and autumn
These angles are calculated to extract the maximum amount of electricity from your solar panels.
I would think that the best angle to choose (if you only want to set it once) would be to choose the optimum angle for winter 69.4. That is when the days are the shortest and the weather is the coldest, which would be the time of year that is hardest to keep the batteries topped up. The longer daylight hours and warmer weather during the rest of the year would help to compensate for the loss of efficiency due to less than optimum solar panel angle.
Note: To test the lights you need to either be in the dark or cover / disconnect the solar panel.
The remote is a nice feature although the stated operating range of 26 feet is ridiculously low considering the recommended distances suggested for mounting are 16 to 26 feet.
Even on the dimmest setting this light is quite bright.
The 8,500 watt version is very bright at 10 feet away it was about as bright as the 100 watt incandescent bulb that I measured at only 5 feet.
Of course this light would light up a much larger area than the incandescent bulbs with the 3 fairly large panels of LEDs angled in different directions.
You could easily read a book under this light even at the maximum suggested mounting height (10 to 26 feet)
I took these measurements at a distance of 10 feet,

I got this solar light to light up a 12 x 12 ft section of my backyard. It does a pretty good job. The light is not a sharp nor is to too harsh. It's pretty wide. Is it as bright as a 110v led light, no. But it gets a lot of light in a place that doesnt have electricity and its self contained and all in one. Just set, mount , and forget. The remote has multi hours setting when it turns on or off. You can also adjust brightness . See photos ...
