This turns night into daylight, this is incredibly bright and I would recommend a high install point so you don't look directly into it. As indicated in the title, this is a street light and should be installed as such. Maybe on a utility pole or a flag pole, at least somewhere high enough to take full advantage. These could be used to light up an athletic field. The fact they are solar is a huge bonus.

The product is built solid to withstand weather as well.

I would recommend this for your outdoor lighting needs.

My elderly father lives somewhat rurally and I never thought he had enough light in his driveway for when he arrived home after dark some nights and parked the car outside. Now he has that light and I'm impressed with the brightness.

Installation should be done by somebody who knows their way around mounting lights on poles (in this case) or onto buildings - but this light has a fairly standard bracket that can be applied to any type of mounting you want. I think with these it's expected that you'll get any extra hardware you need for your specific application and that's understood. And it does mount securely.

Right away it was well-charged out of the box and super bright. Kept accidentally blinding me up close (LOL) and the solar re-charging has kept it very bright for every night. I think it's best in a motion mode (easily configured, see the instructions) for our situation but we add a hefty delay after motion detection has ceased. But it seems like the battery will last all night, at least in the summer here in the South.

Very good light that surprised me with its brightness, durability, and battery life. It's pretty big and covers a large area. If you're at all handy, I recommend this as a great DIY project that's not too difficult to do with a moderate amount of planning.

The street light was easy to install, easy to power, and works quite well. Everything necessary to be up and lighting was in the box, and now my driveway area is brightly lit and (adjustable!) lighting. The solar panel is robust enough to cause the light to shine through the night even in slightly cloudy weather, a huge plus. Note I had to have two people help me install the light - it is heavy - and arrange its orientation. My driveway is quite large, and that is well and good - this light is actually suitable for a basketball court or small strip mall. Motion detection, well, I need to find some way to desensitize this a bit - it fires off for small creatures in addition to humans, but that is a relatively minor issue.

At some $280 this seemed like overkill, but I will be buying another with a nice warm color temperature to use in my BBQ and BB court areas. I am pleased.

Since we installed it on our home, we have not had to worry about it being fully charged even once. The light panel itself does not require anything but the power of the sun, and I doubt you will ever need or want another light source after using this one. It's easy to use, efficient in every way, has multiple lumen and kelvin levels for variety depending on your needs, and it completely waterproof and built to last. 5 star product in every way.

I was looking for a light that would be able to light up the area around a cottage. The cottage has limited electricity and is often left unoccupied during the off-season. I thought a solar light would be perfect as both a security light and a light to lighten up the area.

You can control the light with a button on the light but the best way to control it is with the included remote control.

The light can be set to several different settings.

There is a dusk-to-dawn mode where the light comes on and stays on from dusk to dawn.

There is also an always-on mode where the light is always on.

You can adjust the white color of the light to warm white, cool white, or a combination of both.

There are 10 levels of brightness that can be selected with the remote control.

This like can easily light up an area of 3500 sq. feet.

This light is also weather resistant so will be able to handle the harsh Canadian winters.

I am very happy with this light. It is very bright, well made, and has a huge solar panel and a lot of features.

It is perfect as a security light or to lighten up any large area like a cottage, a yard, a parking lot, or even a tennis or volleyball court.

The price is high but this is not a cheap light. It is huge, bright, and very well made and is worth the cost. I do recommend it.
